[ Our little story ]

ADL Tobacco is a family business whose Head Office and production plant are located in Pointe-Bleue, a small community in the Lac St-Jean region of the province of Quebec (Canada).  Three brothers, Alain, Donald and Luc Paul started the business in 1993 with the following acquisitions :

1993 - We acquired Tabac Belle Feuille, manufacturer and distributor of raw leaf tobacco, mainly in Quebec.

1994 - We acquired Mar-Co Tobacco, a company that owned tobacco transformation equipment to make fine cut tobacco and an established clientele across Canada.

1997 - We purchased a cigarette maker and packer for king size cigarettes.

1999 - We purchased a cigarette maker and packer for regular size cigarettes.

2000 - We purchased all the equipment of a cigarette manufacturer located in the Maritimes that will permit us to pursue our growth.

2001 - We obtained our sale permits for the Ontario.

2003 - Development of the Canadian, Western and Maritimes market.

2004 - National prices war.

2005 - Repositioning of the market and restructuring of A.D.L. Tobacco.

2006 - Development of new products.
